JAMB releases 2023 UTME result, warns against fraudsters
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board on Saturday released results of the just concluded 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
The examination body, which also outlined the process to check the results, made this known in a statement signed by JAMB’s Head, Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr Fabian Benjamin, on Saturday in Abuja.
It said, “To check the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination result, all a candidate needs to do is to simply send UTME RESULT to 55019 using the same phone number that he/she had used for registration and the result would be returned as a text message.
“This is the only process of checking the 2023 UTME result for now as the board has not uploaded it on its website for obvious reasons.
“In addition, candidates are forewarned that they would, as usual, receive all kinds of messages from desperate fraudsters on how to check their results different from the aforementioned one. Hence, the board urges all candidates to ignore all such messages on how to check their 2023 UTME results as they are all products of deceit aimed at misleading them.
“The board, in line with its desire to adhere to the ease of doing business protocol of the government, has emplaced this user-friendly and simplified process of checking UTME results.”
How to check 2023 UTME JAMB result online
- Go to JAMB result checking portal
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number/Email Address in the required column.
- Click on ‘Check My Results’.
- The portal will then load your result for you if it is ready
How to check Jamb UTME result via SMS
- Candidates should send RESULT, via SMS, to 55019 with the same number you use register for JAMB.
- If one candidate used phone number that was not used to register in their portal, the system will reply that this number was not use to register with them
- Candidate that has result will receive message: “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows… (and they will provide you the details).
- If Jamb has withhold your result, they will still send message to tell you “Result Withheld”
How to Print Original Jamb UTME result Slip
Candidate are required to pay a sum of #1000 (one thousand naira only) to print the original JAMB result slip
Login to your JAMB profile through here Under the list of post Registration e-Facilites (on the left side of the page), click on the “Print Result Slip
