When you sell something on Marketplace, you create a public listing that can be seen by anyone on Marketplace and in News Feed, search and other places on or off Facebook. All listings on Marketplace and buy and sell groups must follow Facebook Commerce Policies.
Tips to the market
- From your News Feed, click
Marketplace in the left menu.
- Click
Create New Listing, then click Item for Sale.
- Click Add Photos to upload a photo of your item from your computer.
- Enter the info about your item. To mark an item as Free, you can enter 0 as the price.
- Click Next. If Next is grayed out, make sure you’ve entered the information that’s required.
- Click Publish to post your Marketplace listing.
How to edit or delete listing on Facebook Marketplace
You can manage your listings on Marketplace by:
- Editing the details of your listing.
- Deleting your listing.
- Marking your listing as sold or pending.
To edit the details of your Marketplace listing:
- From your News Feed, click
Marketplace.
- Click Your Account.
- Click Your Listings.
- Click
on the listing you want to edit.
- Click Edit Listing.
- Edit your item’s details and then click Update.
To delete your Marketplace listing:
- From your News Feed, click
Marketplace in the top left.
- Click Your Account.
- Click Your Listings.
- Click
on the listing you want to delete.
- Click Delete, then click Delete again.
Why wasn’t my Facebook Marketplace listing approved?
If you see There are issues with your product next to your listing, it wasn’t approved because it goes against Facebook Commerce Policies. Other people on Marketplace can’t see this listing.
