Dangote Business School (D.B.S.) was established in 2014.

The college was formed to promote high-level business management and entrepreneurship knowledge guided by good global practices.

B.U.K. Dangote Business School Registration Procedure

1. Authentication

Whether new or returning, all students need to authenticate their studentship before starting the registration process.

Authentication Procedure for Fresh Students

Fresh students need the following for authentication:

  • Admission letter serial number
  • Application Number, and
  • Registration Number for authentication.

Fresh students are required to choose their portal password at the point of authentication.

After successful authentication, a username is generated for the student.

Authentication Procedure for Returning Students

Returning students need the following for authentication:

  • Registration Number
  • Last Session’s Username, and
  • Last Session’s Password for authentication.

Returning students have a choice of changing their password at the point of authentication.

All passwords must be at least six characters long and are case-sensitive.

2. Login

After successful authentication, students can use their respective username and password to log in to start or continue with the registration process.

3. Registration Procedure

The registration procedure is as follows:

i) Profile Update

Students must first update their profiles.

Note that students are strongly advised to update their phone numbers and emails as they are used on their B.U.K. Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF).

ii) Student Information Form (S.I.F.)

After the profile update, students can generate and download/print their Student Information Form (S.I.F.).

iii) B.U.K. Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF)

Students must generate, download and print a B.U.K. Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF).

Registration fees are reflected on students’ BUKPPF, to be paid using Remita e-Payments and e-Collection platform (click here for the payment procedure).

Important Notice: Make sure you carefully read, understand and follow the payment procedure, as B.U.K. will not be liable for any loss of funds due to incorrect data entry.

iv) Student Payment Receipt (S.P.R.)

After payment is validated and processed, students must generate and download/print Student Payment Receipt (S.P.R.) to continue with the registration.

v) Course Registration

After printing the S.P.R., a student can register for his/her courses.

Students are strongly advised to seek the guidance of their respective level coordinators on the courses they are supposed to register with any limitations or restrictions.

vi) Course Registration Form (C.R.F.)

After course registration, students must generate and download/print the Course Registration Form (C.R.F.).

The C.R.F. contains the details of the registered courses.

vii) Registration Acknowledgement Slip (R.A.S.)

After printing the C.R.F., students can print the Registration Acknowledgement Slip (R.A.S.) to acknowledge that they have successfully completed their registration process.

Note that students can log out and continue the registration later.

Admission Requirement at Dangote Business School

The following are the requirements for admissions for any of the following programmes

1. Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.)

Candidates for admission into M.B.A. (Regular) should have:

  • A minimum of a Good Second Class Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Banking and Finance from any recognised University
  • A Degree or HND with a minimum of Lower Credit plus University Postgraduate Diploma with a minimum of Merit in the relevant areas from any recognised University.
  • Five O’Level Credits, including Mathematics and English.

Candidates for admission into M.B.A. (Special) should have a minimum of a Good Second Class Degree in any discipline from Bayero University, Kano or any other recognised University.

2. Masters in Entrepreneurship (M.Ent)

Candidates for admission into M.Ent (Regular) should have:

  • A minimum of a good Second Class degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, Banking and Finance, or any related discipline from any recognised university; or
  • A Degree or HND with a minimum of Lower Credit plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship (PGD-Ent) with a minimum of Merit from any recognised university.
  • A Degree or HND with a minimum of Lower Credit plus University Postgraduate Diploma with a minimum of Merit in the relevant areas from any recognised University.
  • Five O’Level Credits, including Mathematics and English.

Candidates for admission into M.Ent (Special) should have a minimum of a good Second Class degree in any discipline from any recognised university.

3. Post Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship (PgD-Ent)

  1. A candidate must have obtained BSc or HND; or
  2. Have accredited professional qualifications, such as ICAN, ANAN, etc., from a recognised institution and must have possessed Five O’Level Credits including Mathematics and English.
  3. The candidate must also have at least one-year post-graduation experience.

4. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)

  1. Candidates for admission into PGDM shall possess a Degree in any discipline from any recognised university; or
  2. HND with a minimum classification of Lower Credit obtained from recognised institutions.
  3. Five O’Level Credits, including Mathematics and English.
  4. The candidate must also have at least one year of post-graduation experience.
